• Day 1: Rishikesh to Joshimath Distance: 250 km Altitude: 1900m

Today, you’ll drive to Joshimath town in Garhwal that’ll be 255 km drive and should take 9-10hours. You must reach Tapovan, Rshikesh before 6:30 am to board the vehicle. Our team will escort and facilitate your transport to Joshimath. Overnight stay at the designated hotel/guesthouse on triple sharing basis.

• Day 2: Joshimath-Tugasi-Guling Distance: 4 km Altitude: 2630m

After an early breakfast, you’ll start the drive to Tugasi/Karcho village and then begin the trek to Guling campsite. The trail kicks moderately uphill for a few km. We’ll cross a couple of villages before we reach the pristine alpine forest - a perfect dest to camp & spend the evening. Tea & snacks and dinner later. Overnight stay in tents. 

• Day 3: Guling to Khulara Distance: 5 km Altitude: 3400m

Begin the trek through the dense forest of pine and oak trees. The terrain is moderately steep initially before leveling out in the later part. If it is late winter then you’ll start noticing the patches of snow as well. On the trail, you might meet shepherds and locals doing their daily activities. We can take a break and re-energize ourselves. Throughout the walk you’ll witness snowcapped mountains of Kamet, Nanda Devi, Dunagiri, Haathi-Ghori and Neelkanth. 

• Day 4: Khulara - Kuari Pass - Khulara Distance: 8 km Altitude: 3850m

Today, we hike to Kuari Pass ridge perched at an elevation of about 4000m. We start every early dawn to conquer the last climb and witness the majestic sunrise of the Himalayas. Patches of the trail can be little a strenuous but the location is amazing and worth all the effort. At the top of the pass, you will get a spectacular 360 degree view of great Himalayas. You can relax and soak in the magical beauty of nature for a while. After a while we’ll descend back to our campsite at Khulara. Relax through the evening and spend the night chatting and enjoying with your fellow travelers. 

• Day 5: Khulara to Tugasi 9km/1980m Distance: 9 km Altitude: 1980m

Time to descend back to the road-head. After having breakfast, we'll start our downhill walk through the dense Pine & Oak forests On the way you can explore remote villages like Karcho & Karchi to explore the real heritage of Garhwal Uttarakhand. On reaching the road-head, we’ll board our vehicle to reach Joshimath. Night stay in a guesthouse. 

• Day 6: Joshimath to Rishikesh Distance: 250 km Altitude: 380m

Today, you’ll drive to Rishikesh after an early morning breakfast. The journey should take 9-10 hours on average. You should reach Rishikesh at 6-7 pm. The tour terminates after dropping you in Rishikesh.
