The Panwali Kantha walk trail is mesmerising, with distinct charms in different seasons. It is located at an elevation of 11,500 feet (3500 metres) and provides the best views of the Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri peaks. The Panwali Kantha journey takes you through the seven bugyals (meadows) of Panwali Kantha, and if you're lucky, you could see blue mountain goats (bharal), Himalayan bears, musk deer, and Ghoral.

This walk appears to be a painted scene, from the silky green meadows in summer to the softly sloping snow-laden bugyals in winter. You may reach this trekking destination from Rishikesh via Sonprayag or Ghuttu, then explore the beautiful Buransh Forest before continuing on to Gourmand.
